Adds a generic removed commands listener and a test that fails if fleetctl still serves a fleetctl command listed in the removednames package.

Testing

  • Added/updated automated tests
  • QA'd all new/changed functionality manually

Summary by CodeRabbit

  • Updates
    • The get fleets command no longer accepts the teams, team, or t aliases. Use fleet or f instead.
    • Removed commands now display their specific removal messages when invoked.

🟡 Changes recommended

Success-path tests still invoke the removed get teams alias and must use get fleets to validate their intended behavior rather than receive removal errors.

What changed in this PR

Adds registry-backed notices for removed fleetctl commands, directing old invocations to migration guidance.

Changes:

  • Registers hidden commands that return removal messages, including when old flags are supplied.
  • Removes the deprecated get teams, get team, and get t aliases.
  • Adds tests for registered removal messages; registration rejects names still served by active commands.

Explain Change →

Walkthrough

App creation now registers hidden replacements for removed command paths. The get fleets command no longer accepts the teams, team, or t aliases. Tests verify the configured removal messages and use get fleets for fleet configuration checks.

Looks good, thanks! A couple of small things:

  1. tools/cis/cis-test-runner.py:691-692 still runs fleetctl get teams --json and that now fails so the runner loses the fleet ID. get fleets takes the same --json and --name flags.
  2. #56630 already has a changes file for these aliases. If this PR merges before #56630, could you add one here too?
  3. For docs: docs/Get started/FAQ.md:477 on docs-v5.0.0 still says fleetctl get teams > teams.yml. It should be fleetctl get fleets --yaml > fleets.yml.

I can update the cis-test-runner, I'll let the other PR own the change file, I will add a todo to update the docs.
