Senior software engineer in Vigo, Spain. Thirteen years of it, professional since 2013, self-taught, mostly on small teams where whoever ships the thing is also the one awake when it breaks. I work in English and Spanish. Since March 2026 I've run my own studio, Kalebtec. Founders who need CTO altitude get architecture and hiring from me while I keep writing code.
Two things I go deep on.
Live media pipelines. Four years on a live broadcast platform. Headless-browser capture of a live WebRTC conference, ffmpeg encoding on ECS Fargate, a three-rung H.264 ABR ladder, HLS packaging, and simultaneous RTMP fan-out to YouTube, Facebook, X and TikTok from one encode. AWS Elemental MediaLive carried it before that migration. The reliability layer underneath is mine end to end: a validated lifecycle state machine, ten-second heartbeats, a watchdog that replaces a dying container mid-show and stitches the recording back into one continuous file, and a circuit breaker that stops launching replacements when object storage is itself the fault. Partners on the platform included PSG, Manchester City, the 49ers and AC Milan.
Agent infrastructure. MCP servers, agent harnesses, and a judge that throws out a step the agent reported as fine when the screenshot disagrees.
Two of those are public and MIT licensed, so you can read the code:
browxai is an MCP-native browser-control server. It hands a model a token-efficient Playwright and CDP surface: capability-gated tool contracts typed with Zod, and page snapshots small enough for the model to actually read.
composerxai is a Claude Code plugin and a 26-rule prose linter, pointed at the machine tells in what an agent writes back to you.
TypeScript, Node, React, React Native, Rust, AWS (ECS/Fargate, Lambda, SQS, S3, CDK), Playwright/CDP, PostgreSQL, GraphQL, Kubernetes.
Open to senior and lead engineering roles, CTO work and forward-deployed engagements. Contract through Kalebtec or permanent.
