I will try to report this by email too; I've noticed that the Python Documentation website seems to be unavailable and is returning HTTP 503: https://docs.python.org
The first indication of this problem I encountered was a failure of the Render documentation GitHub Actions CI job in sphinx.git; it fails-on-warnings, and warnings occurred during the build due to inability to retrieve a Sphinx inventory file (objects.inv) hosted on the docs.python.org domain: https://github.com/sphinx-doc/sphinx/actions/runs/36851020257/job/110332426620?pr=14394
I've independently confirmed the HTTP 503 results by attempting to browse to the same website from a domestic internet connection and also my smartphone (with wifi disabled).
The outage is not yet reflected on the Python Infrastructure Status page but I expect that it will be soon: https://status.python.org/
Thanks @hugovk - I'll follow along for any updates there. NB: I went to check the domain again, and it is now returning the expected content and an HTTP 2xx result. In any case: I will close this bug.
