dev_dns_updater is stuck and no error msg #2209

Describe the bug
after deploying pixie cloud, all pods are up, and I run ./dev_dns_updater --domain-name="dev.withpixie.dev" --kubeconfig=$HOME/.kube/config --n=plc
after input root passwork, the program is stuck and I cannot know the error msg.

sudo strace -f -o output.txt ./dev_dns_updater --domain-name=dev.withpixie.dev --kubeconfig=$HOME/.kube/config --n=plc

3. Scroll down to '....'
4. See error
