- Line 125: Store currentPage metadata on each queued question when it is
submitted, then have sendMessage use that entry’s stored page value instead of
reading currentPage.value when sending. Keep each question associated with the
page that was active at submission time.
- Around line 136-137: Update the submission status check around status.value
and queue.value.push(text) to enqueue new messages when status is error,
preserving their order behind existing queued messages. Apply the same
correction to both documentation examples.
- Around line 136-137: Add a separate submit control for active responses in the
Chat.vue example so users can submit text to onSubmit and add it to the queue
while the existing UChatPromptSubmit stop action remains available. Update both
queued-message documentation examples to use the same separate-submit pattern.

🟡 Minor · Drain the queue after an error. · Chat.vue:149

🎯 Functional Correctness | 🟡 Minor | ⚡ Quick winDrain the queue after an error.
When an active request fails with a non-abort error, the SDK sets
statustoerror. The watcher only handlesready, so queued messages remain unsent. Theerrorprop also disables new prompt submissions.Handle
errorin the same watcher.sendNext()starts a new request, which clears the previous error and changes the status tosubmitted; the watcher will not send that message twice.Suggested fix

📚 Description
The AI SDK doesn't queue messages, a
sendMessageduring a response starts a second request next to the current one, and since #7248UChatPromptignores submits while the chat streams. This PR adds a "Queued messages" recipe to the chat page: leavestatusoffUChatPrompt, push the text to a queue while the chat is busy and send the next one when it'sreadyagain, with the queue listed in the prompt#headerand a button to drop an entry. The docs assistant does the same now, so you can type your next question while it answers. Every submit goes through the queue, so a message sent after an
errorstill waits behind the earlier ones, and a queued question keeps the page it was asked on. Stopping a response sends the next queued message right away. A question asked from the search palette or "Explain this page" while the assistant answers now joins the same queue, before it restarted the chat mid-answer.📝 Checklist
