[Bug]: After upgrading to NC32 PWA app seems broken - Top Menu is hidden/missing #55359
Hi,
I have initially created the same post in the AIO Discussion board, but I think this is actually better place. nextcloud/all-in-one#6907 (comment)
After upgrading NC AIO and than following the guide to update to NC32 the PWA is broken. I mean there is no Top Menu at all. I did th eusual , cleaning data, uninstall with removing all data , I tried Edge and Chrome and all of that had the same result, Only DashBoard is possible, whatever you click on it, like a new email, it simply opens new tab in the browser
Update: It seems to work fine, but only in full screen mode:
Steps to reproduce
1.Use AIO interface to update mastercontainer, than containers and start it all up - works fine
2. Follow the instruction nextcloud/all-in-one#6865
3. start it all up - seems to wrk fine, but the PWA does not show top menu
Expected behavior
as before the upgarde, PWA fully functional, with top menu, allowing to switch metween modules, access user menu, change dark/light mode see your status and similar things that are on the top bar

Are you using the Nextcloud Server Encryption module?
This was an intentional change in #54138. Each Nextcloud app has it's own PWA, so you can use your OS to switch apps (after installing the ones you want). The navigation bar inside Nextcloud is not necessary and this way it also promotes using multiple PWAs for multitasking.
Thanks for all replies here and to you szaimen for the answer on AIO board.
I understand now it is a new feature. It somehow breaks how I used to work with PWA, but I'll try the "new way". Hopefully it won't be similar experience as with the "Modern Outlook" 😆
The new system makes a mess of multiple PWA's instead of a single pane of glass style that was beneficial.
External sites links are now broken as they are not accessible through the PWA app.
User account settings are hidden now.
Extra space at the bottom of the page not properly compensated for.
Over all this is a bad change and a single PWA was a better direction.
Add this to the custom CSS to restore the top menu

But, the fact that the navigation bar works in full screen mode, is that a bug or a feature?
