List/Grid view for Photos in Configuration in stead of hardcoded in PHP #50851
Description
In the file /apps/files_sharing/lib/DefaultPublicShareTemplateProvider.php is a setting to make the photos in Grid view and not standard in list view.
Every time I update Nextcloud, this file wille be overwritten and I need to change this setting
$folder->assign('showgridview', false);
to
$folder->assign('showgridview', true);
Can you make this a configuration setting in the Configuration.php file so I don't have to change it anymore?

Can you reopen this request because this is not the same as you mentioned. The Photos app was the old app and this is about the new function.

Please see #50739 where the feature is implemented. This has nothing to do with the Photos app (which is also a current app; it's not old, but in any case is not related to this feature).
Do note it's not in a released version yet. It's in the upcoming v32 code base.

I understanded it wrong. I thought is was already implemented because of the link to old item.

Updated to v31 but grid view is not possible anymore.
The hard coded setting '$folder->assign('showgridview', true); ' is gone and I cannot find a alternative.
What can I do to change the view to grid?
