Automated ingestion of latest Fleet-maintained app data.
Summary by CodeRabbit
Updates
Updated cataloged versions and download details for Airtame, AlDente Pro, Azul Zulu JDK/JRE, Biscuit, ClickUp, Cog, Cryptomator, MacPacker, Ollama, OpenCode Desktop, Prisma Access Browser, REAPER, Rive, Shapr3D, Signal, Spyder, Zed, and other apps.
Refreshed uninstall cleanup for several macOS apps, including removal of additional app data, caches, logs, and recent-document entries. Rocket Typist cleanup now targets older-version data paths.
Maintained app records update version thresholds, installer URLs, and SHA-256 checksums across macOS and Windows. Several macOS uninstall script references change to scripts with additional or corrected cleanup targets. The Azul Zulu JDK and JRE Windows records also use uninstall scripts with updated MSI product codes.
Possibly related PRs
fleetdm/fleet#56894: Updates many of the same app records and uninstall cleanup entries.
fleetdm/fleet#56760: Updates the Cog and Ollama records that this PR advances to later versions.
fleetdm/fleet#56517: Updates AlDente, Biscuit, ClickUp, and Firefox Nightly records also updated here.
Priority: Low
Merge Risk: Moderate · up to 78791
Resolve the Azul uninstall failures and build-specific patch detection before merging, unless explicitly accepted. Older installations can remain installed or miss updates, and Rocket Typist uninstall now leaves application data behind.

Explanation
The title "Update Fleet-maintained apps" matches the changeset, which updates the maintained app manifests under ee/maintained-apps/outputs. It is short and specific, and a teammate scanning history would understand the main change. It does not say which apps or versions changed, but the summary does not need to cover every detail.

Explanation
The description is one line: "Automated ingestion of latest Fleet-maintained app data." It explains the purpose of the change. It does not follow the repository template. It has no related issue reference, no checklist items marked, and no sections for testing, AI disclosure, or the other template areas. The changes file requirement is not addressed. The description is brief but does state the intent, so it is not off-topic. It is still largely incomplete against the template.
Resolution
Update the description to follow the repository template. Add a related issue reference (for example, "Resolves #123") or state "NA". Complete the checklist and mark the items that apply. Confirm whether a changes file is needed in changes/ or whether it does not apply to these data-only updates. Add the Testing section status, including whether automated tests were run and whether the updated app install and uninstall scripts were QA'd. Add the AI section if an AI tool was used to prepare the change.

⚠️Unverified finding
We couldn't verify this from the code. It is shown for review, not as a verified issue.
The installer now comes from a latest URL, while the manifest retains a fixed SHA-256. If that endpoint serves a subsequent release at the same path, the downloaded bytes may no longer match the recorded checksum.
Fleet rejects downloads for new Airtame installations or updates because checksum verification fails.
This can occur when: Airtame updates the response at /app/latest/win/Airtame-4.16.1-setup.exe after this manifest is published.

Review comments at @ee/maintained-apps/outputs/azul-zulu-25-jdk/windows.json:
- Line 20: Update the uninstall flow in the `151bbddf` script to resolve the
product code of the Azul Zulu JDK actually installed on the host before invoking
`msiexec /x`, rather than always using the hard-coded product code. Pass the
resolved code to `msiexec` so an installed 25.38.107 product is removed when the
active script targets 25.38.109.
Review comments at @ee/maintained-apps/outputs/azul-zulu-25-jre/windows.json:
- Line 21: Update the uninstall logic in the "6165b234" script so it removes
both MSI product versions or uses their shared upgrade code; ensure an absent
product code does not prevent the older version from being uninstalled.
Review comments at @ee/maintained-apps/outputs/firefox@nightly/darwin.json:
- Line 10: Update the generated patch query for the Firefox Nightly artifact
identified by installer_url to include its Nightly build identity, so same-day
builds are distinguished instead of matching only the shared CFBundleVersion.
Review comments at @ee/maintained-apps/outputs/rocket-typist/darwin.json:
- Line 21: Update the Rocket Typist cleanup calls after `quit_application` to
target version 3 identifiers for Application Support, crash-reporter and app
caches, HTTP storage, and preferences, matching
`com.witt-software.Rocket-Typist-3`. Preserve the existing version-2 targets for
distinct legacy data and the other cleanup paths.
Review comments at @ee/maintained-apps/outputs/sourcetree/darwin.json:
- Line 10: Update the Sourcetree patch threshold so build 324 is recognized as
patched: compare CFBundleVersion rather than relying on
CFBundleShortVersionString, which is also 4.2.20 on build 321. Keep the
installer_url for build 324 aligned with that threshold.

**Related issue:** Follow-up to #56900 and #56433. CodeRabbit flagged
the corrected zap paths on those bot PRs as regressions. Both threads
were declined because the input identifier is the real bug, and this PR
fixes it.
The `unique_identifier` in both inputs came from Homebrew zap stanzas
that guessed the bundle ID from the major version
(`Rocket-Typist-#{version.major}`, `HoudahSpot6`). The real IDs are
different, so the exists, patched, and open queries, plus the
quit/relaunch helpers in the install and uninstall scripts, never
matched a real install.
| App | Was | Now |
|---|---|---|
| Rocket Typist | `com.witt-software.Rocket-Typist-3` |
`com.witt-software.Rocket-Typist-2` |
| HoudahSpot | `com.houdah.HoudahSpot6` | `com.houdah.HoudahSpot4` |
**Evidence**
- **Rocket Typist 3.4.2:** the cask's DMG (`Rocket Typist.dmg`, sha256
`07544827b7b1b63f49a1661f48a73abaa92e2173cbbd2e1d74167f7f626c5b73`) has
`CFBundleIdentifier` `com.witt-software.Rocket-Typist-2`, and `codesign
-dv` reports the same identifier (team `GH2Y99U35Z`). This matches the
AutoPkg recipe (autopkg/homebysix-recipes
`RocketTypist/RocketTypist.download.recipe` pins `identifier
"com.witt-software.Rocket-Typist-2"`), IntuneBrew's entry for 3.4.2, and
Homebrew/homebrew-cask#298106, which replaced the zap paths with the
`-2` paths its CI saw on disk.
- **HoudahSpot 6.8.5:** the 6.8.5 DMG's Info.plists show
`com.houdah.HoudahSpot4`, and the extensions are
`com.houdah.HoudahSpot4.FinderExtension` / `.HoudahSpotQuickAction`.
Homebrew fixed its zap stanza in Homebrew/homebrew-cask@d27087407c.
The darwin validator passed with the wrong IDs only because `appExists`
in `cmd/maintained-apps/validate/darwin.go` also matches by app name
(`... OR LOWER(<name>) LIKE LOWER('%<appName>%')`), so a passing
validator doesn't prove the identifier is right.
**Changes**
- Inputs: `unique_identifier` fixed in `rocket-typist.json` and
`houdahspot.json`.
- Outputs, regenerated with `go run ./cmd/maintained-apps -slug
<slug>/darwin`. Version, URL, and sha256 are unchanged for both apps.
The only differences are the identifier in the three queries and in the
install script's `quit_and_track_application` / `relaunch_application`
and the uninstall script's `quit_application` calls, plus the recomputed
script refs.
- The corrected zap paths for both apps are already on `main`:
HoudahSpot's from #56433, and Rocket Typist's (`-2` paths plus the
`Share-Text-With-Rocket-Typist` extension) from #56900. Merging `main`
in after #56900 landed hit a conflict in `rocket-typist/darwin.json`. I
kept this branch's side, which matches `main`'s scripts exactly once
`-3` is swapped for `-2`, and a fresh regen reproduces it byte for byte.
- `apps.json`: `unique_identifier` updated for both entries by hand. The
generator only adds new slugs to `apps.json` and doesn't refresh
existing ones, and `server/mdm/maintainedapps/sync.go` reads this field
into `fleet_maintained_apps`. Same approach as #55866.
**Not included: legacy-ID handling.** No migration code was added for
the old IDs. They never matched a real install, so no host's inventory
reported them. I haven't checked whether any customer has added either
FMA. If someone has, a reviewer should decide whether anything beyond
the regenerated queries is needed. I'm flagging it here rather than
building migration code for it.
# Checklist for submitter
## Testing
- [x] QA'd all new/changed functionality manually
- Mounted the Rocket Typist 3.4.2 DMG and read `Info.plist` + `codesign
-dv` (results above).
- `go test ./ee/maintained-apps/... ./cmd/maintained-apps/...` passes.
- Compared old vs new outputs after parsing them: every query equals the
old one with only the ID swapped, and the script diffs are only the
lines listed above.
