Publish Windows/macOS wheels? #28
Description
Activity
Hi Stefan,
Welcome to CEL-expr-Python!
As far as Windows is concerned, we are currently blocked on the Windows build of cel-cpp, because cel-expr-python is a wrapper over cel-cpp. We would very much welcome a contribution on that front.
macOS, theoretically, should be easier, so we will attempt to build and publish on macOS.
Thanks thank you very much for your feedback!
Reacted by Stefan VanBuren, Mani Tadayon and Vint Sanghyeok Lee@dmitriplotnikov thanks for the details! I guess I ought to be watching cel-expr/cel-cpp#768 or maybe cel-expr/cel-cpp#1502 or cel-expr/cel-cpp#1503 for progress on the Windows front?
Thanks @dmitriplotnikov , I'd love MacOS ones (and don't forget ARM too), have been waiting for this.
@stefanvanburen Can y'all go ahead and do the macos ones even while waiting for windows to work?
Reacted by Mani Tadayon@rcleveng I think you probably want @dmitriplotnikov, I'm just a hopeful user :). But getting macOS published separately from Windows I think is still valuable.

Quite right - sorry for that!
Confirming that MacOS and Windows support are two separate tasks. As soon as one of them is addressed we will publish the corresponding wheels.
Reacted by Rob Clevenger and Mani TadayonWe have just published release v0.1.2 which includes Windows (py 3.11-3.13), macOS (py 3.11-3.14) and Linux (py 3.11-3.14) wheels
Reacted by Stefan VanBuren and Alex@dmitriplotnikov what's the blocker for py 3.14 on Windows? Is it still upstream?
Similar to #27, it looks like only linux wheels are being published; it'd be great to publish for Windows and macOS as well.
