macOS leaves Kiro CLI HFS+ installer volumes mounted after updates #3923

Checks
- I have searched github.com/aws/amazon-q-developer-cli/issues and there are no duplicates of my issue
- I have run
q doctorin the affected terminal session - I have run
q restartand replicated the issue again
Operating system
macOS 26.5.2 (25F84)
Expected behaviour
Installer / updater image disks are unmounted after an update.
Actual behaviour
I get a growing list of mounted disk images over time.
Example from today, after about a month from the last manual cleanup:

Steps to reproduce
Install Kiro CLI, enable automatic updates, and wait for a month or two.
I can see the following in the logs:
