Describe the bug / error
I've enabled the newer, but apparently fully GA, property isPanelExperienceEnabled in my form customizer manifest.
I've deployed this solution, more than 24h ago, but the forms still show up in the old seperate aspx pages not in the panel. New opens a new page and renders my custom form. Edit opens in a new page and renders my custom form. Sadly, the details pane, which would open a new page with the "view" for my custom form, now does nothing but show the view panel with no column properties.

Steps to reproduce
Create an SPFx solution with a form customizer.
Add the new isPanelExperienceEnabled: true property
Julie Turner (@juliemturner)
We were able to reproduce the reported issue in our test tenant. Although isPanelExperienceEnabled is set to true, the Form Customizer opens on a separate SPListForm.aspx page instead of in the modern side panel.
We will raise a bug with the engineering team for further investigation and share updates when available.
We are now well past that timeframe, and the feature is still not working as expected.
While Microsoft's focus on Copilot and AI innovations is understandable, it is difficult for customers and developers to plan around roadmap items when they can slip by more than six months without any meaningful update.
At this stage, more than the feature itself, we would appreciate transparency regarding its status, priority, and expected delivery timeline.
A short update from the engineering team would go a long way toward maintaining confidence in the SPFx roadmap.

I think we have the same problem. Is a solution in sight yet?

Ashlesha-MSFT, any update on this?
Also, I'd like to confirm same issue on 1.23.2 GA. In the documentation this feature is set to be available since the end of July

Ashlesha-MSFT Reaching out for a status update?

Hello Engineering Team,
Could you please provide an update on this issue?
This functionality was listed on the SPFx roadmap with an expected delivery around February/March 2026.
