vtesse-cli: Linux CLI and stage 1 acceptance #7

Closed

Description

@compot-dev

Console client for Linux built on #2–#6.

vtesse-cli --host H --port P --id <DEVICE_ID> --password-file F [--auth xor] [--debug-ip A/M --debug-gw G]

Acceptance criteria (on the bench #1, then on a real server with a test session):

  • Handshake, <TeK>, DHCP address + option 121 routes bound.
  • Ping of the client from a device behind the bridge works.
  • Session stays up > 10 min with keepalive.
  • Hard link loss (no FIN) → reconnect; with multi killold the new session comes up within ~5 s, same MAC and same address.
  • On the bench with multi no: errors are distinguished, backoff works.
  • Wrong password / unknown session → clear error, no retry storm.
  • Server with compression → clear refusal.
  • Credentials are never accepted on the command line (file or environment only).

    Stage 1 acceptance passed (c12bda6).

    Bench (bench/bench.sh cli-test, 7/7): DHCP address + option 121 routes, option 3 ignored, HTTP GET to the device through lwIP, ping of the client from the device, reconnect after a killold take-over with the same address and working ping.

    Target server (test session): <TeK>, DHCP address and classless routes bound via lwIP; a single session stayed up for 11 minutes with keepalive, no drops.

    Error cases (wrong password, unknown session, compression, multi no) are covered by tests/test_client.c and bench/selftest.py; credentials are read only from a file.
