Garry's Mod addon not working anymore as of the last few days #154
There is a potential fix waiting for release. In the meantime, please delete the folder at c:/Users/USERNAME/AppData/Roaming/Code/User/globalStorage/sumneko.lua and reinstall the addon using the addon manager. 🙂
What version of the extension are you on? Can you see the addon installed at :/Users/USERNAME/AppData/Roaming/Code/User/globalStorage/sumneko.lua/addonManager/addons/garrysmod/module/?
Also, can you share your settings.json or .luarc.json?
I do notice that if I click "Disable" in the addon manager, while it's enabled, I get the following in the log and can't actually disable/re-enable it. [2024-10-22 23:50:37] | WARN | Addon | "garrysmod" is already disabled
Tried to delete settings.json and re-enable the addon but that didn't make a difference, same problem.
Hmmm. It seems that perhaps it is failing to resolve ${addons} to c:/Users/USERNAME/AppData/Roaming/Code/User/globalStorage/sumneko.lua/addons.
If you replace ${addons} with c:/Users/USERNAME/AppData/Roaming/Code/User/globalStorage/sumneko.lua/addons in your settings.json, does the library load?

Yeah, replacing ${addons} with the path manually fixes the issue.

Did that, and now there's no errors but the addon doesn't function at all.

Using version 3.11.1

Looks like everything's there, lots of stuff in the library folder.
Here's the settings.json
